Stop Blushing Tips
Facial blushing blushing is something every one has to deal with in situations that makes us feel embarrassed and shy, however for many some blushing can happen a lot more often making it a serious problem to their social lives.
For people who suffer from excessive blushing one of the biggest complaints they have is the vicious cycle of once they blush and others notice it they start to blush more and find it harder to stop.
Blushing is basically the physical response that is triggered by one of more self conscious thoughts causing the blood vessels in the face to swell.
Besides embarrassment and shyness, the two most common triggers for blushing is anxiety and the fear of being judged. These cause the body to go into stress and a way for it to handle it is to blush. A common trait many blushers have is a low self confidence and self esteem.
So the logical cure to facial blushing is building up you self esteem and self confidence. But what is self esteem and confidence, well self esteem is really the level of how much someone likes themselves.
Listen to your internal chatter, we all talk to ourselves all day long, some of us talk kindly about yourselves and other times we beat ourselves up over things we did or didn’t do. The first step to building your self esteem is to notice what you tell yourself. If it is not positive change it.
Confidence is a little different from self esteem as it is more related to competence. You may have heard a saying fake it till you make it. With confidence sometimes this is what you need to do, build it up slowly ans steady.
Think about when you first started to learn math. If someone showed you the times tables before you knew how to add and subtract you might not have felt confident about doing the times tables but over after doing many add and subtraction equations and then learning about the times tables you became more confident.
This is how you need to build your self confidence, start small and work your way up.
